There is a theme in two of my favorite hypnosis tracks by Kenneth, "The things that used to bother you, now they just calm you, now just relax you." In Buddhism my teacher told of students that said their practice would be great if there wasn't one irritating part of their life messing up their bliss. The teacher said that the part of the student's life that was irritating them was exactly what the student needed to observe, to learn the most important lesson. When we can be calm in the face of the unexpected we can learn so many things, and we can expand past our former boundaries. Thank you and Namaste!!
Thank you for sharing that. The Dalai Lama once said; "your enemy is your greatest teacher." I have personally changed a lot of unhealthy patterns in my own life using this philosophy (and I still am). I believe that the Universe sends us / we attract / create "challenges" for the sake of learning and evolving. One example; as you pick the "wrong" line in the grocery - instead of getting irritated, isn´t it a good opportunity to train your patience muscle? Sitting stuck in traffic - an opportunity to practice patience and acceptance...Think of our relationships - how are we co-creating the same patterns? Why? Because we have not learned yet...But we can learn. Always.
Your words inspired me to write an article on the subject! :)
In gratitude,
Kenneth :)
